My friend Tracy and her family in Canada recently started a blog called Asian Wild Rose about multi-cultralism. She is a young Vietnamese woman I met on IRC and have been chatting with about various things including racial stereotypes and living in North America as an Asian. Although she's not Japanese, the issues are very similar.
