Animation/game franchises continue to lead Japan's cultural exports. Pokemon was an immensely popular card game/video game/TV show/comic book/movie/pillow/snack lunch conglomerate. Then after that died down, Yu-Gi-Oh launched to a warm enough reception abroad, to judge by the number of Yu-Gi-Oh cards for sale, and Yu-Gi-Oh shows on TV.

Now "Duel Masters" is coming to the United States. According to a post on OgreCave.com, the company that is releasing the card game is going to have to work hard to distinguish itself from Yu-Gi-Oh. Here's the original ICv2 story: 'Duel Masters'--New WotC CCG, Dreamwave Comic.
