Maggot Salad

Care for a tangy squiggly crunchy treat anyone? Try whipping up chanpon classic maggot salad for your Halloween party. Family recipe courtesy of Norie Fukuda.
Maggot Salad
Dressing ingredients: Salad ingredients: |  |
Preparation: Mix together dressing ingredients.. |  |
Mix salad ingredients in separate large bowl. |  |
Toss all together at least 5 mins. before eating. to let dressing soak into the dry ramen noodles, (or maggots, rather!!), and make them plump and juicy! ;-) You can also dress this up with slices of mikan, carmelized pecans, or make it a little lighter by reducing the amount of oil. |  |

I don't like the name... even if it is Halloween. ;-p (Or maybe it is because I was in Menorca where there were a lot of flies..)
The naming seems a bit Halloweenish, and the idea of using ramen for salad seems a bit ゲテモノ, not exactly for the health conscious, but the salad itself was very good. おいしかったです。And actually, now there are organic and natural ramens out at the health food stores. とにかく作ってみてね。Thanks Norie.
